Program Description
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and the Altria Group have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latino students. This scholarship is open to junior students in selected majors and institutions. The award amount is $5,000 for the 2012-2013 academic year. Awardees may receive an additional $5,000 award for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements
- Be of Hispanic heritage
- Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident or eligible Non-U.S. citizen
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be an undergraduate junior during the the 2012-2013 academic year, enrolled full-time at one of the institutions listed below
- Must be majoring in one of the following: Accounting, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Physics and all Engineering disciplines including Aerospace Engineering, Architecture, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Structural Engineering
- Students must be attending one of the following institutions:
