Eligibility Requirements
- Be of African American descent
- Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident or eligible Non-U.S. citizen
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be a Junior enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., or Puerto Rico in the 2011-2012 academic year
- Be majoring in a Business discipline which includes Accounting, Advertising, Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Merchandising, Finance, Hospitality Administration, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Public Relations
- Have a permanent address in: Georgia, North Carolina, or Washington D.C.
- AND/OR attend an accredited institution in one of the ABOVE locations
- Preference given to students attending full-time at one of the following institutions:
- Johnson C. Smith University
- North Carolina State University
- University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
- University of North Carolina - Charlotte
- Wake Forest University
- Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
