Program Description
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and ExxonMobil have partnered to provide financial resources to outstanding Latino undergraduate students. Awards are in the amount of $2,500 and are disbursed in Fall 2010.
ExxonMobil is the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas company, providing energy that helps underpin growing economies and improve living standards around the world.

Eligibility Requirements
- Be of Hispanic heritage
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent residant card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be a full-time sophomore, junior or senior during the 2010-2011 academic year
- Be majoring in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering
- Must be attending one of the following universities in the 2010-2011 year:
- Colorado School of Mines
- Lamar University
- Louisiana State University and Agricultural & Mechanical College
- New Mexico State University
- Stanford University
- Texas A&M, College Station
- Texas Tech University
- University of Florida
- University of Houston, Main Campus
- University of Oklahoma
- University of Texas, Austin
- University of Texas, El Paso
- University of Texas, Pan American
- Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
