Program Description

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and Lockheed Martin have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latino students who are military veterans or ROTC students. This scholarship is open to junior and senior students in selected majors. The award amount is $5,400.

Eligibility Requirements

• Be of Hispanic heritage 
• Be a U.S. Citizen, legal permanent resident or eligible non-U.S. citizen
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 on a 4.00 scale
• Be an undergraduate junior, senior or fifth-year senior enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the 2013-2014 academic year
• Must be majoring in a STEM field with a preference for the following majors:  Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering
• Must be a military veteran (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard) or in an ROTC program (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard)
• Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in 2013
