Program Description

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) has partnered with the Marsh & McLennan Companies, and its member companies:

Marsh
Guy Carpenter
Mercer
Oliver Wyman

to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Junior Latino college students for the 2012-2013 academic year.  Awards are in the amount of $5,000 and are available on a competitive basis.  Awardees may be invited to apply for an internship within corporate or one of the member companies.

Eligibility Requirements

• Be of Hispanic heritage 
• Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident or eligible Non-U.S. citizen
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Must intend to enroll as an undergraduate Junior in the 2012-2013 academic year and be pursuing first undergraduate degree
• Have plans to enroll Full-Time at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the 2012-2013 academic year
• Must major in one of the following:
  • Business Administration
  • Cognitive Science
  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Information Technology (IT/MIS)
  • Management
  • Mathematics/Statistic
• Must submit a resume with the application
• Must plan to apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
