Program Description

The HSF/ Western Governors University Scholarship Program is available to new enrollees attending Western Governors University during the 2010-2011 academic year.

The award amount is for $2500 per term, renewable for one additional term.

*Priority will be given to those who attend the Town Hall Meeting (THM)*

Eligibility Requirements

• Be of Hispanic heritage 
• Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Enroll FULL-TIME at Western Governors University for at least two moduels.
• Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Scholarship ONLY available for first time enrollees at WGU
