As someone that moved from Venezuela to the US at the age of 18, in pursuit of a dream, I realized quickly that if it had not been for the solid foundation of a good education system, the values that my parents instilled in me and the many leaders/mentors that guided and pushed me along the way, I would never be where I am today... Now it’s my time to pay that forward. Over the past several years I’ve been blessed to be able to do that within Target, helping other young Hispanic leaders succeed. Now it’s time for me to do that on broader scale. My goal and dream was never to be where I’m at today, but to make my family proud. I’m hoping I can help others to do the same. I can’t think of a better organization to do that with than the HSF.
