Diana Rodriguez is senior vice president of corporate communications for the Western Region of the retail banking business at Wells Fargo, which includes 26 states. She is a global, multi-lingual senior corporate and marketing communications executive, with a career that has spanned the financial services, energy, and manufacturing industries.
Appointed to her position in November 2010, she has communications responsibility for more than 2,950 banking stores and more than 51,000 team members who serve consumers and small businesses in the region. She leads a team responsible for managing media relations, internal communications, social media, and executive advocacy.
Rodriguez is active in the non-profit community and currently serves on the boards of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Advisory Board for Southern California and INROADS Western Region Advisory Board. She also previously served on the boards of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and Project Angel Food. Additionally, she serves on the board for Wells Fargo’s enterprise Latin Connection Team Member Network.
A Los Angeles resident, Rodriguez began her career with Wells Fargo in April 2010. Prior to assuming her current position, she was the communications leader for Wells Fargo Financial, based in Des Moines, Iowa. Previous to joining Wells Fargo, Rodriguez held communications roles at Capital One, AES Corp. and MeadWestvaco.
Rodriguez earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Western Connecticut State University and completed graduate studies in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She currently resides in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif., with her husband and two children.
