HSF/BGCA/Goizueta Foundation Alliance
The HSF/BGCA Alliance pilot sponsored by the Goizueta Foundation encompasses 10 Clubs in different parts of Georgia.
Through this pilot, HSF conducts interactive workshops, known as My Future, My Choice, My Education, at the targeted Georgia Clubs. These sessions provide information and support to help youth navigate their way from middle school to high school to college and on to successful professional careers.
This initiative also offers bilingual sessions for the parents through a program entitled PASOS. During these gatherings, parents come to better understand the U.S. education and grading system and they examine issues such as testing, financial aid and helping their children with their studies.
The Georgia pilot also will give participating Club members the opportunity to vie for scholarships. Students chosen in the competition will receive a certificate for a package of services from The Princeton Review that includes college-preparatory course planning in high school and college entry standardized test preparation programs, which they can redeem during their high school years.
