Program Description
The HSF/Wells Fargo Scholarship is designed for Latino undergraduate students who are interested in the financial and banking institution based careers. This program aims at making a positive impact on students' education through scholarship support and career preparedness via internship opportunities. The award amount is $2,000 to be disbursed in Fall 2009.

Eligibility Requirements
- Be of Hispanic heritage
- Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
- Be a current Sophomore enrolled full-time at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States; selected students must be enrolled as Juniors during the award year
- Be pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or IT, including CIS, MIS and Computer Engineering
- Have a minimum cumulative high school or college/university grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- First priority will be given to students from the following institutions:
Arizona State University, California State University - Fullerton, California State University - Frenso, California State University - San Francisco, Columbia University, Iowa State University, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, Stanford University, Texas A&M University, University of Arizona, University of California - Berkeley, University of California - Davis, University of California - Los Angeles, University of California - San Diego, University of Minnesota, University of Southern California, University of Texas at Austin, University of Washington
- Second priority will be given to students who reside in one of the following locations:
AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, IA, ID, IL, IN, MI, MN, MT, NE, NV, NM, ND, OH, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY
- Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
