CINGULAR WIRELESS PLEDGES $115,000 TO HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Funding will support students attending community college
San Francisco, CA. March 2006 - The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the nation's leading organization supporting Hispanic higher education, announced that it has received a $115,000 pledge from Cingular Wireless to support Hispanic students attending community college in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year.
"I am truly honored by the generosity that Cingular Wireless has bestowed on HSF over the years, " said Sara Martinez Tucker, President and CEO of HSF. "This pledge will translate into a great source of future funding for scholarships. The HSF/Cingular Wireless Scholarship program will help HSF in its mission to break the cycle of under education in the Hispanic community by continuing to offer students with financial resources and assistance.
