Program Description

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and Macy's have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latino undergraduate students.  This scholarship is open to students attending selected universities. The award amount is for $5,000 and will be disbursed in Fall 2011.

Selected students may have the opportunity to participate in a summer internship with Macy's in the Summer of 2011.  Students must answer the internship question on their application.

Eligibility Requirements

• Be of Hispanic heritage
• Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Must enroll FULL-TIME in the 2011-2012 academic year as a Sophomore or Junior at one of the following universities:

• Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Students in all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply
