Program Description

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and Macy's have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latino undergraduate students.  This scholarship is open to students attending selected universities. The award amount is $5,000 to be disbursed in Fall 2009.

Selected students may have the opportunity to participate in a summer internship with Macy's in the Summer of 2009.

Eligibility Requirements

• Be of Hispanic heritage
• Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Must enroll FULL-TIME in the 2009-2010 academic year as a Junior or Senior at one of the following universities:

  • University of Arizona
  • University of Florida
  • University of Georgia
  • University of Texas – Austin
  
  
• Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
