About Advisory Councils
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Advisory Councils collaborate with Senior Staff in advancing HSF’s goals, particularly outreach and fundraising efforts in major markets across the country. To that end, Council members serve as market advisors and ambassadors, at various local activities.
Prominent leaders from both the public and private sectors, including HSF Alumni, are invited to serve, on the basis of having distinguished themselves in their respective fields and having demonstrated their commitment to advancing higher education and professional achievement for Latino students.
Council members use their experience, connections, and insights about local markets to help HSF stay connected and enhance its presence in diverse locations. They also provide support in marshaling resources and relationships that assist HSF in expanding its programs and services for Latino students and parents. In addition, they serve as ambassadors at major HSF events, and elsewhere in their communities, interacting with Scholars and Alumni, as well as parents, aspiring Scholars, and a range of current and potential donors.
We are honored to have these distinguished and dedicated individuals serving on HSF’s Advisory Councils and invite you to visit each region’s page to learn more about the Councils and their respective members.
