Since 2008, Lowe’s has also partnered with HSF, funding scholarships for top Latino college students across the nation. As part of their support, Lowe’s also provides funding for scholarship recipients to access Scholar Support Services, which offer mentorship, leadership development, career services, knowledge building, and personal wellness training, as they pursue their higher education goals and career ambitions.

Lowe’s supports the communities in which it operates through a focus on K-12 public education, community improvement projects, and disaster relief. Its signature education grant program, Lowe’s Toolbox for Education®, provides funding for STEM programs, technology upgrades, facility renovations, and safety improvements, and has awarded more than $54 million to 12,000 schools across the country.

Lowe’s is also committed to building a culture of volunteerism, via the Lowe’s Heroes initiative. Through the program, Lowe’s employees provide volunteer service to community transformation projects. Recent Lowe’s Heroes projects include the construction of Camp Hope, an interim housing structure for veterans in Houston, Texas, as well as a community relief day for victims of the 2018 California wildfires.
