The company’s five business units focus on multiple areas, including human vaccines, rare diseases, multiple sclerosis, oncology, and immunology. The parent company, Sanofi SA, headquartered in France, is a one of the worlds largest, multinational, pharmaceutical companies.

Through its corporate social responsibility strategy, Sanofi US contributes to nonprofit organizations that focus on critical community health and social service needs; education, STEM, and university support; and environmental sustainability.

Among its many activities in support of critical health care needs, the company partners with Project Hope, which delivers medicine and supplies, and provides volunteers and medical training, in the wake of disasters around the world; and Americares, which addresses the medical needs of people affected by disaster or poverty. Additionally, the company funds independent healthcare initiatives and sponsors healthcare-focused organizations, such as patient groups and scientific associations.

In keeping with its support of higher education, Sanofi has also partnered with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, sponsoring the annual Alumni Hall of Fame (AHOF) gala and fundraiser, for the last two years. In addition to raising funds for general operations and the fulfillment of HSF’s mission, AHOF honors distinguished Latinos whose personal journeys to success exemplify the goals and values of HSF, and also recognizes a Corporate Partner of  the Year for being a leader in advancing Latino higher education.
