Toyota joined the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) as a partner in 1988, helping to build a more equitable future for Hispanic students, supporting programs for parents and students to prepare, plan and pay for college throughout the U.S. Most recently, Toyota and HSF established the Toyota-West Dallas Scholarship Program, which supports outstanding students from the West Dallas area. Uplifting the Community Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Toyota continues to support HSF and bring awareness to the organization. This year, one of Toyota’s two holiday commercials, “Nora’s Joy,” brings a a heart-felt story of a young woman who who finds the ability to share her joy in a very magical way – and a social media extension brings awareness and additional funding to HSF. Vice President, Toyota Social Innovation, Peggy Turner is a member of HSF’s Board of Directors, and Sebastian Ontiveros, the National Director of Multicultural Alliance and Strategy Group & Senior Manager, Consumer Engagement, Toyota North America, serves on HSF’s Dallas Advisory Council.
