Mr. Roupe earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, where he graduated cum laude with a major in Art History and English. He went on to complete his master’s in Business Administration from Harvard University.

He is the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Aqueduct Capital Group, an alternative asset placement agent and registered broker-dealer founded to facilitate raising capital for best-in-class, private equity, and hedge fund managers.

Prior to starting the firm in early 2006, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was Regional Manager of its Private Wealth Management group in Houston, heading the firm’s business in the Southwest.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Roupe was a Principal and Investment Professional at Morgan Stanley, where he played a primary role in developing the firm’s southwestern, private client business.

Mr. Roupe is active in a variety of organizations, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Heart Institute, and the Council of Overseers at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. He has also served on the board of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
