May 15, 2021, LOS ANGELES –The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations supporting higher education, today announced that Anheuser-Busch Foundation has reaffirmed its historic commitment to HSF’s mission, through a donation of $300,000.

Anheuser-Busch, the country’s leading brewer, and its philanthropic arm, the Anheuser-Busch Foundation, have supported HSF since the organization’s founding in 1975 with nearly $10 million in contributions. During the past decade alone, the Foundation has contributed more than $3.5 million to HSF, helping to provide scholarships benefiting more than 560 students and supporting HSF’s leadership development programs and Scholar Conferences.

“The mission of the Anheuser-Busch Foundation is to provide support for organizations that help communities and individuals thrive,” said César Vargas, Chief External Affairs Officer, Anheuser-Busch and member of HSF’s Board of Directors. “We’ve been partners with HSF since its earliest days and have experienced first-hand the impact the organization has had on students, families, and the Latino community. With this donation, we are proud to continue our partnership with HSF and help shape the next generation of leaders by opening doors for outstanding Hispanic students who want to complete a higher education.”

“We are deeply grateful to see our enduring partnership with Anheuser-Busch Foundation renewed once more, through this very generous donation,” said Fidel A. Vargas, President & CEO, Hispanic Scholarship Fund. “Through this most recent gift, Anheuser-Busch continues to stand with us in advancing higher education across the nation by providing financial and professional support Scholars need to fulfill their true potential in years to come. By investing in our Scholars, Anheuser-Busch is investing in America’s future!”

This year’s donation from the Anheuser-Busch Foundation will fund more than $100,000 in scholarships, $150,000 to support HSF’s Scholar conferences, and $50,000 to support HSF’s Alumni Hall of Fame gala.
