THE HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND HOSTS COLLEGE 101 IN DALLAS WITH THE HELP OF FEDEX AND FLUOR

Oct 12, 2017

Los Angeles, CA, October 12, 2017 – The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the nation’s largest nonprofit organization supporting Hispanic American higher education, will host its next College 101 of the 2017-2018 series in Dallas on November 8th, at O.D. Wyatt High School, with support from Local Leadership Sponsor, FedEx and Local Supporting Sponsor, Fluor.

The College 101 Series consists of free, bilingual, two-hour college preparation workshops, designed to teach middle and high school students - and their parents - how to best prepare, plan, and pay for college.

"In addition to awarding scholarships, HSF provides critical resources and information to students and parents on what it takes to prepare for a college track," said Fidel A. Vargas, President & CEO, Hispanic Scholarship Fund. "College 101s give them the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and interact with a variety of experts, all in a single location.”

The first two College 101’s of the 2017 fall season kicked off on September 14 in Atlanta and on September 20 in Denver, with more to follow in Boston, San Antonio, and Albuquerque. For more information about the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and the College 101 series, please visit HSF.net.
